Mo Laudi (Ntshepe Tsekere Bopape)

Join us for a Performance Lecture by South African multidisciplinary artist and composer DJ Mo Laudi (Ntshepe Tsekere Bopape). Mo Laudi is a Stellenbosch University research fellow renowned for his significant contributions to Afro-electronic music and his club night and label Globalisto. 

Presented in partnership with Sydney Festival, the evening will welcome conversation and exploration, delving into sonic archives of resistance that seek to evoke communal connection, deep listening, healing, care and repair. 

Mo Laudi has helped introduce Kwaito, Afrohouse, Amapiano, Gqom and Shangaan-electro to the global stage, and played alongside the likes of Major Lazer, Jamie XX, Carl Craig and Miriam Makeba.
