Internationally acclaimed contemporary artists Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan have been in residence at Artspace, working with local community groups and Plunkett Street Public School to create The HOOP Project, an installation of basketball hoop assemblage sculptures. The work celebrates collective creativity and shared experience.

Presented as part of Woolloomoolivin' Annual Festival of Urban Arts & Culture, join Artspace and the Aquilizans for this special one-off event in which participants have the opportunity to activate this exciting new public installation, and create a new take on a classic game!

For more information, check out the full program on the Facebook event here and through the Youth and Family Connect Website here

This project is supported by Government Partner City of Sydney as well as Create NSW’s Audience Development Fund, a devolved funding program administered by Museums & Galleries of NSW on behalf of the NSW Government. Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan are represented by Yavuz Gallery, Singapore and Sydney.
