Join Jonathan Jones in conversation with collaborators from the Arts & Cultural Exchange Embroiderers Collective for the opening of Jonathan Jones: untitled (transcriptions of country)

Jonathan Jones is a Sydney-based artist and researcher of the Wiradyuri and Kamilaroi Nations of southeast Australia. He works closely with community to create a range of projects that talk to both the historical and contemporary. His projects are grounded in research and work with local Aboriginal Elders and community members to tell local stories from the southeast region.

Yamane Fayed is an experienced trilingual creative producer working extensively in the community and cultural development sector. Yamane holds a Masters in French Literature and taught French literature in Lebanon. Since coming to Australia in 2005, she has worked as a freelance facilitator of digital and traditional storytelling across Western Sydney.

Joining Jones and Fayed are members of the Arts & Cultural Exchange Embroiderers Collective Asana Abdul Azim, Rabia Azizi, Khyati Gathani, Lida Haydari, Fariba Rahimi, Ayusha Prasad, Seethalakshmi Srinivasan, Shabnam Mukhi, and Sharadha Sivaraman.
