Monique Watkins

Monique Watkins is Assistant Curator, Australian art at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. She was the curator of the exhibition Raquel Caballero: The Patchwork Portal (AGNSW, 2025) and assistant curator of Janet Dawson: Far Away, So Close (AGNSW, 2025) and Nolan: Origins (AGNSW, 2026).

She is the former deputy editor of Look magazine, and her writing was recently published in Dangerously Modern: Australian Women Artists in Europe 1890–1940 (AGNSW, 2025).
