Hosting international curators develops opportunities and professional networks for Australian artists.

Each year, Artspace hosts visiting artists, curators, writers, art historians and academics from around the world. These relationships are key to expanding dialogues and developing partnerships, as well as creating global opportunities and professional networks for Australian artists.

Artspace and The Keir Foundation International Curators Program focuses on curatorial advocacy and public programs. All of our international projects are based on the principle of reciprocity. We form collaborative partnerships with international colleagues that enable us to share information, networks and artistic content, reinforcing Australia’s position within a system of international cultural exchange.

The partnership supports up to four international curators annually, over the next three years and will make a significant contribution to contemporary practice in Australia.

The Artspace and The Keir Foundation International Curators Program is developed and presented by Artspace with support from The Keir Foundation.
