The Future Fund for Living Artists is a new initiative that places generosity and experimentation at the core of the organisation by directly supporting artists in the studio program. By contributing directly to the costs associated with the studio program, the Future Fund increases Artspace’s capacity to offer the seven non-residential studios annually for free and support artists to develop new work.

Artspace’s approach to collaboration and partnerships is founded on the principles of exchange and reciprocity. These partnerships do not just simply reduce our costs, they enhance commitments to cultural and community exchanges, shared artistic content, intellectual property and the development of long-term trusted relationships.

Artspace’s ambitious programs are made stronger by the transformative role of private support. Alongside the ongoing and valuable contribution of our dedicated community of benefactors who have supported our endeavours, Artspace launched the Commissioning Circle and the Future Fund for Living Artists in 2015.
