A night for art, a future for artists
Join us and Daniel Boyd at Artspace to celebrate the launch of Artspace Editions, a new annual fundraising initiative offering limited-edition artworks, publications, apparel and more. The launch will activate Artspace’s interstitial spaces through projections, a book colouring station and other elements connected to Daniel’s Editions, alongside a special book signing. It will also be the first opportunity to see and purchase the inaugural Editions in person.
The evening will also mark the first opportunity to see and purchase the inaugural Editions in person. Rainbow Chan will perform live, with DJ Charlie Villas soundtracking the evening. Refreshments will be served throughout the evening, including a special bite from event partner Uncommon, with drinks available to purchase. Come for a first look at the Editions, stay for the music, drinks and Artspace after dark.

About the Editions
The inaugural Artspace Editions are by acclaimed Kudjala, Ghungalu, Wangerriburra, Wakka Wakka, Gubbi Gubbi, Kuku Yalanji, Bundjalung, Yuggera and ni-Vanuatu artist Daniel Boyd. One of Australia’s most highly regarded contemporary artists, Boyd’s work is held in major international collections including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, where his work is currently on view.
For Artspace Editions, Boyd reinterprets imagery from The Australian Children’s Pictorial Social Studies across three limited-edition works: a woodcut print, silkscreen T-shirt and colouring book. Together, the works question how colonial narratives are represented, taught and understood as history.
'Cultural transference is so important to belonging, the arts are what has sustained the oldest and continuous culture on earth. And I feel that it’s a responsibility of mine to help wherever and whenever possible.' – Daniel Boyd
Strictly limited quantities are available. Be among the first members of the public to purchase an Edition on the night before they sell out.
