Andrew Martin

Andrew Martin has over 30 years’ experience in global investments as an investment manager and adviser across a range of sectors including real estate, infrastructure and private equity.

Andrew is currently a Managing Director of MA Financial, a diversified financial services firm listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. At MA Financial, Andrew is the Head of Asset Management where the firm manages c.$13 billion of investments in real estate, credit, private equity and venture capital on behalf of Australian and international wholesale and institutional investors with a particular focus on Asia.

Prior to MA Financial, Andrew was a Managing Director of UBS Global Asset Management in infrastructure and private equity and he was also a principal of his own asset management firm which founded real estate funds in the US, Australia and Asia. 

Previously Andrew was an investment banker with Rothschild, and he served in the NSW Government Premier’s Department and the Cabinet Office where he advised on infrastructure and utilities transactions. Andrew has also held partner and other senior positions in Australian and international law firms (now Norton Rose Fullbright and Allens Linklaters).

Andrew is a passionate art collector himself and leads MA Financial’s commitment to the arts including as the principal partner of the Sydney Contemporary Art Fair.
